A fan-made remake of the first two Metal Gear games was developed as a 2.5D PC stealth shooter using the Source engine, and was to be released via Steam. From the only trailer that was released, David Hayter and Paul Eiding were attached to the project, with Hayter voicing both a young Solid Snake and Big Boss, and Eiding reprising his role as Colonel Campbell. The project was halted twice due to funding problems and was officially cancelled after they released their first official trailer, which depicted Portable Ops styled cutscenes.
As revealed in the trailer, players would have the choice to take out guards non-lethally with a tranquilizer gun or the lethally with a pistol or CQB.
